Ban on NEA lobbying: This bill would prohibit the federally chartered National Education Association from engaging in lobbying as defined in section 3 of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995. It would require annual certifications and recordkeeping to the Secretary of Education and would allow termination of NEA’s federally chartered status if it violates the prohibition.

Ban on National Education Association lobbying
If enacted, this bill would bar the National Education Association from engaging in "lobbying activities" as defined by the Lobbying Disclosure Act.
