This bill would create a federal crime for obstructing immigration enforcement by making it illegal to approach or remain within 25 feet of a federal immigration enforcement officer after a verbal warning. New penalties for approaching immigration officers

This bill would create a new federal crime for people who ignore a verbal warning and knowingly come within 25 feet of a federal immigration enforcement officer. It would apply only when the officer is performing a lawful duty. It would be illegal if you approach with intent to block the officer, threaten physical harm, or harass the officer. "Harass" would mean a course of conduct that knowingly causes substantial emotional distress and has no legitimate purpose. A conviction could lead to a fine, up to 5 years in prison, or both.
