Expands HHS authority to destroy imported items that pose a significant public health risk. This bill would let the Secretary of Health and Human Services order destruction of drugs, devices, or any other articles refused admission when the agency determines they present a significant public health concern.

- Families and consumers: Removes hazardous imported items from the supply chain to lower the chance people are exposed to dangerous products.

New FDA power to destroy imports
