If enacted, the bill would create a federal grant program run by the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The program would fund partnerships between Drug‑Free Communities coalitions and local elementary, middle, and high schools. Congress would be authorized to provide $7 million each year for fiscal years 2026 through 2031. No single grant could exceed $75,000 per school per year. Only one coalition could get a grant to partner with the same school. Grants could be renewed each year during the three fiscal years after the initial award. Up to 8% of annual funds could pay for program administration. Grants must supplement, not replace, other federal or non‑federal prevention funds. Applicants would need a detailed plan and an MOU with at least one local school. Grants would follow existing Drug‑Free Communities evaluation rules.
