Summary
Would shift unused Presidential Election Campaign Fund balances into the Unemployment Trust Fund to finance reemployment services. This bill would transfer the unobligated balance in the fund established by section 9006(a) of the Internal Revenue Code into the Employment Security Administration Account of the Unemployment Trust Fund. The transferred balance would remain available until expended. Those funds would be used to make grants under section 306 of the Social Security Act to support reemployment services and eligibility assessments.
