National Museum of the Blind People’s Movement Act

Designates the Museum of the Blind People's Movement in Baltimore as the National Museum of the Blind People's Movement. The bill would create a national cultural institution focused on the history, experiences, and contributions of blind people and the blind movement. It records findings about historic discrimination, access and civil-rights challenges, and the National Federation of the Blind's organizing since 1940. The museum, housed at the NFB Jernigan Institute, would hold artifacts and archives and serve as a platform for public education, awareness, and dialogue.
