Reauthorizes the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom for two years. The bill would extend the commission's funding authorization to cover fiscal years 2026–2028 and move its statutory expiration to September 30, 2028. It only updates the years for which appropriations are authorized and the expiration date and leaves USCIRF's powers, duties, and program structure unchanged.

Extend religious freedom commission funding
This bill would extend the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom until September 30, 2028. It would authorize appropriations for fiscal years 2026 through 2028 by changing the text from "2025 and 2026" to "2026 through 2028." It would replace the current termination date of September 30, 2026 with September 30, 2028. These changes would take effect upon enactment.
