Summary
Doubles the maximum prison term for assaults on Bureau of Prisons correctional officers. This bill would amend 18 U.S.C. §111 to double the applicable maximum imprisonment and raise the corresponding maximum fine when the offense is committed against a Bureau of Prisons correctional officer. The change only adjusts the maximum penalties under that section as applied to Bureau of Prisons correctional officers and the text includes no new program or funding authorizations.
