More tribal drinking water funding
If enacted, the bill would authorize $60,000,000 for FY2027 and $60,000,000 for FY2028 for the Indian Reservation Drinking Water Program. It would also make up to 10 eligible drinking water projects in the Upper Colorado River Basin eligible for that program. Projects must meet the program's subsection (b) eligibility rules and are limited to ten projects in the basin. Tribes would be able to apply for grants to fix or build drinking water systems.
