More multigenerational programs for seniors and youth

If enacted, this bill would change a grant program under the Older Americans Act to fund projects that serve older adults and younger people. Funded projects would have to develop, run, and promote multigenerational activities and offer older adults chances to mentor younger generations. Grants could pay for activities at multipurpose senior centers, long-term care facilities, and other residential facilities for older people. The bill would treat the "first grant" as the first grant awarded after enactment and require notice to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee and the House Education and Workforce Committee.
