Summary
Allows eligible households on Indian reservations to enroll simultaneously in the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This bill would amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 by replacing subparagraph (C) of Section 4(b)(2) to require FDPIR distribution plans to permit simultaneous participation in SNAP. The practical effect is that households eligible for FDPIR could receive both FDPIR distributions and SNAP benefits at the same time instead of choosing one program.
