Grants for tech-enabled health networks
If enacted, the Secretary would be able to award one or more grants to an entity or entities representing a network of at least three organizations. Each organization would need experience running technology-enabled collaborative learning and capacity building models. At the end of a grant period, the network would have to use a shared dataset to show the impact of those models on one or more public health issues the Secretary identifies (for example, an infectious disease with rising incidence or a chronic disease with rising prevalence). The bill would also change subsection (k) dates from "2022 through 2026" to "2027 through 2031."
