Block proposed Saudi arms sale

This joint resolution would prohibit the proposed foreign military sale to the Government of Saudi Arabia described in Transmittal No. 26-35 (Executive Communication 4683, published September 15, 2026). It would bar transfer of 5,004 KMU-572 JDAM guidance kits and 5,000 KMU-556 JDAM guidance kits. It would also bar transfer of 5,004 BLU-111 500-lb general purpose bombs and 5,000 BLU-117 2,000-lb general purpose bombs. The resolution would also prohibit the listed non-major items and services, including FMU-139 fuzes, DSU-38 and DSU-40 target detectors, containers, spare parts, and U.S. government and contractor engineering, technical, and logistics support. The prohibition would take effect upon enactment under the Arms Export Control Act process cited in the transmittal.
