Recognizing SAAMI's 100th anniversary and its role in setting firearms and ammunition safety and technical standards. This resolution would commemorate the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute, Inc., and commend a century of work creating technical, performance, interchangeability, and safety standards for firearms, ammunition, suppressors, and components. It would note SAAMI's 1926 founding at the request of the Federal Government, highlight partnerships with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Commission Internationale Permanente (CIP), acknowledge conservation support such as Aldo Leopold research funding, encourage continued industry, government, and scientific collaboration, and honor past contributors.
