Notwithstanding Section 12-14-1, a misdemeanor offense under Article 3 of Chapter 12 of this title, relating to prostitution offenses, including the attempt of any
of the misdemeanor offenses included in Article 13, shall be prosecuted in the district court in the county where the offense occurred.
