A person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant hereto is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of $500.00, or by
imprisonment for 30 days, or both. A separate violation shall be deemed to have occurred with respect to each building unit (building component) involved.
