The department shall issue a license to an individual who is actively licensed as a behavior analyst in another state that currently imposes comparable licensing requirements as those imposed in this state and that offers reciprocity to individuals licensed under this chapter. An applicant for reciprocity shall submit proof of ethical compliance, including proof of current licensing and current certification by the
certifying entity, along with any other eligibility requirements, such as satisfactory passage of a criminal background check.
