(a) If a towing and recovery service violates a rule adopted by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency as required in Section 41-27-61, the agency may administer any disciplinary action provided for by agency rules governing rotation towing services, including the assessment of fines for violations, not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) per violation. (b) Any determination or order by the agency under this section may be appealed in accordance with the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act.
