Immediately upon April 21, 1982, the district attorney may, at the discretion of the county commission, receive a supplemental salary, payable in equal monthly installments from the General Fund of Barbour County, in an amount equal to 15
percent of the prevailing salary paid to circuit judges by the state. Such supplement may be paid in addition to all other supplemental or expense payments heretofore authorized by law for such district attorney.
