Should any law enforcement officer of this state or employee of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources of the State of Alabama discover commercial fishing gear being used in violation of the terms of this article, he shall seize and hold the same; and, in the event no one within a reasonable time claims seized commercial fishing gear and the owner thereof is unknown to the person finding the same, it shall be confiscated and shall become the property of the Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries of the Department of Conservation and Natural
Resources and shall be disposed of as ordered by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources.
