Denial of Guilt in Previous Trial Not to Be Prosecuted as Perjury

No prosecution shall be brought under this article if the substance of the defendant’s false statement was a denial of his guilt in a previous criminal proceeding. (Acts 1977, No. 607, p. 812, §4920.)
