The survivor allowance shall be adjusted as provided in Sections 16-25-80 and 16-25-81 for those eligible retirees who have selected a monthly survivor allowance payable to a designated beneficiary upon the death of the retiree. (Acts 1993, 1st Ex. Sess., No. 93-916, p. 215, §1.)
