Each fortuneteller, palmist, clairvoyant, astrologer, phrenologist, or crystal gazer, where any fee is charged directly or indirectly or any gratuity is accepted, shall pay a license tax of $40. (Acts 1935, No. 194, p. 256; Code 1940, T. 51, §528.)
