Receipt of Badge and Pistol Upon Retirement

In Etowah County, any individual employed by the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department as a certified law enforcement officer at the time of his or her retirement shall receive, as part of his or her retirement benefits, without cost, his or her badge and pistol. (Act 96-240, p. 269, §1.)
