Lay-Off of Employees

Any employee may be separated from his or her position by being laid off. Reduction in employees shall be in the following order: (1) Temporary employees. (2) Probationary employees. (3) Employees having permanent status in the position in the classified service. (Act 84-578, p. 1201, §16.)
