Pre-installed App Requirements. (Effective January 1, 2027)

An app store provider shall do both of the following with respect to pre-installed apps: (1) Provide available age category information in response to a request from a developer. (2) Take reasonable measures to facilitate verifiable parental consent for use of a pre-installed app in response to a request from a developer. (Act 2026-59, §7.)
