Ark. Code Ann. § 1-1-102

(1) In addition to the provisions of §§ 4-3-401, 7-5-305, 7-7-308, 27-14-705, and 28-25-103, a signature by mark on a document is legal for the purposes of executing the document if the signature is:(1) Made by a person who at the time of signature lacks the ability to:(A) Write; or(B) Sign his or her name; and(2) Witnessed by at least one (1) disinterested person.
