(1) Petitions for the alteration of county boundaries shall be accompanied by the following documentation:(1) (A) A survey of the proposed boundary alterations, except where common boundaries are being dissolved.(B) The survey shall be performed by a professional surveyor as defined in § 17-48-101; and(2) A map drawn to scale of the area affected by the petition.
