Duties of the District Court Resource Assessment Board

Ark. Code Ann. § 16-17-1003 — under District Courts.

Ark. Code Ann. § 16-17-1003

(1) The District Court Resource Assessment Board shall recommend to the General Assembly at each regular session:(1) Criteria for the creation and placement of full-time, state-funded district court judgeships;(2) Revisions of current district court judgeships or the redistricting of the district court districts of this state after considering:(A) The caseload and the geographic area of the district court district;(B) The November 25, 2002, per curiam opinion of the Supreme Court; and(C) Any other matter the board determines to be appropriate; and(3) The number and placement of full-time, state-funded district court judgeships.
