(1) Any person shall be qualified to receive a certificate of registration to practice as a registered barber who:(1) Is qualified under this chapter;(2) Has passed a satisfactory examination conducted by the State Board of Barber Examiners to determine his or her fitness to practice barbering;(3) Is at least sixteen and one-half (16½) years of age; and(4) Has received training approved by the appropriate licensing authorities.
