Ark. Code Ann. § 17-42-514

(a) The Arkansas Real Estate Commission may:(1) Require continuing education for licensees under § 17-42-307;(2) Identify subject matter topics for continuing education courses;(3) Identify a specific topic of not more than three (3) classroom hours to be included in the annual continuing education requirement;(4) Develop and require a specific curriculum for continuing education courses for licensed brokers or their designees;(5) Identify subject matter topics for which licensed schools and instructors may develop courses that fulfill the annual continuing education requirements; and(6) Develop and require a specific curriculum for continuing education courses for property management associates and property management broker licensees.

(1) Require continuing education for licensees under § 17-42-307;

(2) Identify subject matter topics for continuing education courses;

(3) Identify a specific topic of not more than three (3) classroom hours to be included in the annual continuing education requirement;

(4) Develop and require a specific curriculum for continuing education courses for licensed brokers or their designees;

(5) Identify subject matter topics for which licensed schools and instructors may develop courses that fulfill the annual continuing education requirements; and

(6) Develop and require a specific curriculum for continuing education courses for property management associates and property management broker licensees.

(b) (1) The commission may develop the curricula for prelicense and postlicense education.(2) Prelicense and postlicense courses that are intended to satisfy the education requirements for a property management license shall be approved by the commission for participation and attendance by applicants for property management licensure.(3) Prelicense and postlicense courses that are intended to satisfy the education requirements for a real estate license shall only be approved by the commission for participation and attendance by applicants for a real estate license.

(1) The commission may develop the curricula for prelicense and postlicense education.

(2) Prelicense and postlicense courses that are intended to satisfy the education requirements for a property management license shall be approved by the commission for participation and attendance by applicants for property management licensure.

(3) Prelicense and postlicense courses that are intended to satisfy the education requirements for a real estate license shall only be approved by the commission for participation and attendance by applicants for a real estate license.
