(a) To be eligible for registration as a professional soil classifier or certification as a soil classifier-in-training, an applicant shall submit a written application to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission containing information the commission may require, together with five (5) references, three (3) of which shall be professional soil classifiers having personal knowledge of his or her soil classifying experience or, in the case of an application for certification as a soil classifier-in-training, three (3) character references.

(b) Application for registration as a professional soil classifier and for certification as a soil classifier-in-training shall:(1) Be on a form prescribed and furnished by the commission;(2) Contain statements made under oath showing the applicant's education, a detailed summary of his or her experience, and references as required by this chapter; and(3) Be accompanied by an application fee established by the commission of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
