(a) The Arkansas State Medical Board is the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact administrator for this state.
(b) (1) The board shall promulgate rules necessary to implement this subchapter.(2) Rules promulgated by the board under subdivision (b)(1) of this section shall be consistent with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact necessary to implement this subchapter.

(c) The board is not required to adopt the rules of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission for those rules to be effective in this state.
