(a) There is created on the books of the Treasurer of State, the Auditor of State, and the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State a miscellaneous fund to be known as the “Environmental Education Fund”.
(b) (1) The Environmental Education Fund shall consist of that portion of moneys transferred from the Hazardous Substance Remedial Action Trust Fund as set out in § 8-7-509.(2) Moneys transferred under subdivision (b)(1) of this section shall not exceed two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) per fiscal year.
(1) The Environmental Education Fund shall consist of that portion of moneys transferred from the Hazardous Substance Remedial Action Trust Fund as set out in § 8-7-509.
(2) Moneys transferred under subdivision (b)(1) of this section shall not exceed two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) per fiscal year.
(c) The Environmental Education Fund shall be used by the Division of Environmental Quality to provide environmental educational materials and training.
