(a) If the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State determines it to be essential to enable an agency, board, or commission to effectively carry out its responsibilities, the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State may authorize an agency, board, or commission, or certain employees of the agency, board, or commission, to use state credit cards for which the state agency, board, or commission assumes liability for payment, under rules as may be prescribed by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State.
(b) Only credit cards approved by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State shall be used.
