Issuance of warrants

The Auditor of State shall issue his or her warrants in payment of the vouchers presented to him or her by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State only after the Auditor of State has satisfied himself or herself that this chapter has been complied with. For this purpose, the Auditor of State may conduct any further examination and preaudit of the vouchers that he or she deems necessary. A single warrant may contain payments from multiple appropriations, classifications of appropriation, and funds.
