(1) As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) “Large animal” means cattle, horses, hogs, sheep, goats, cervidae, bison, llamas, alpacas, ostriches, emus, rheas, and other native or nonnative animals, excluding dogs and cats; and(2) “Large animal carcasses” means carcasses of large animals which died as the result of sickness, suffocation, or accident, or from any cause other than intentional slaughter.
