Disposition of revenues

(a) (1) All taxes, interest, penalties, and costs received by the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration from the additional taxes and fees levied by this subchapter shall be classified as special revenues and shall be deposited into the State Treasury.(2) The net amount thereof shall be transferred by the Treasurer of State on the last business day of each month, as follows:(A) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the County Aid Fund;(B) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the Municipal Aid Fund; and(C) Seventy percent (70%) of the amount to the Arkansas Department of Transportation Fund.

(1) All taxes, interest, penalties, and costs received by the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration from the additional taxes and fees levied by this subchapter shall be classified as special revenues and shall be deposited into the State Treasury.

(2) The net amount thereof shall be transferred by the Treasurer of State on the last business day of each month, as follows:(A) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the County Aid Fund;(B) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the Municipal Aid Fund; and(C) Seventy percent (70%) of the amount to the Arkansas Department of Transportation Fund.

(A) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the County Aid Fund;

(B) Fifteen percent (15%) of the amount to the Municipal Aid Fund; and

(C) Seventy percent (70%) of the amount to the Arkansas Department of Transportation Fund.

(b) (1) All such funds credited to the Arkansas Department of Transportation Fund shall be used for construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of the rural state highways of the state and their extensions into municipalities and industrial access roads.(2) The State Highway Commission shall provide to each member of the General Assembly on January 1, 1986, and annually thereafter, a report indicating how the money provided by this subchapter was spent, which roads were worked on, and what other progress was made regarding the plan outlined to the General Assembly by the commission during the debate on this subchapter.

(1) All such funds credited to the Arkansas Department of Transportation Fund shall be used for construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of the rural state highways of the state and their extensions into municipalities and industrial access roads.

(2) The State Highway Commission shall provide to each member of the General Assembly on January 1, 1986, and annually thereafter, a report indicating how the money provided by this subchapter was spent, which roads were worked on, and what other progress was made regarding the plan outlined to the General Assembly by the commission during the debate on this subchapter.
