(1) The purpose of this chapter is to:(1) Implement a special license plate law that transfers the authority for approving special license plates to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration;(2) Continue the special license plates that existed before April 13, 2005; and(3) Authorize the Department of Finance and Administration to administratively reissue each type of special license plate continued under this chapter.
