(a) (1) Any person or organization with an interest in a guardianship proceeding may send a request to the guardian and file a copy of the request with the county clerk under the proper case name and case number to be notified of hearings in any guardianship matter.(2) The notice shall include an email address or a physical mailing address where the notice may be delivered.(3) Timely delivery via email or regular mail under subdivision (a)(2) of this section shall constitute proper notice by the person required to provide notice.

(b) Unless the court otherwise directs, upon filing the request, the person shall be entitled to notice of all hearings or the specific types of hearings requested.
