Intimidating a witness

Ark. Code Ann. § 5-53-109

(a) A person commits the offense of intimidating a witness if he or she threatens a witness or a person he or she believes may be called as a witness with the purpose of:(1) Influencing the testimony of that person;(2) Inducing that person to avoid legal process summoning that person to testify; or(3) Inducing that person to absent himself or herself from an official proceeding to which that person has been legally summoned.

(1) Influencing the testimony of that person;

(3) Inducing that person to absent himself or herself from an official proceeding to which that person has been legally summoned.

(b) Intimidating a witness is a Class B felony.
