(1) As used in this subchapter:(1) “Adult” means a person age sixteen (16) years of age or older and approved by the parent;(2) “Door-to-door sales” means the selling of merchandise outside of the child's home and off the school grounds;(3) “Elementary school student” means a child in kindergarten through grade six (K-6);(4) “Fund-raising companies” means businesses, including mail order companies, that assist schools in raising funds in return for a share of all money taken in;(5) “Parent” means a parent or legal guardian; and(6) “School” means a school or school-sponsored organization such as a parent-teacher association (PTA) or booster club.
