(a) The State Insurance Department may refuse to insure property insured for cybersecurity risks when it determines that the property does not meet program guidelines for cybersecurity risks insurance coverage.
(b) The department may request and the affected school district shall provide any information requested for a determination concerning the reasons for a denial, nonrenewal, or cancellation of cybersecurity risks insurance coverage.
