(a) The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education shall conduct an annual evaluation of open-enrollment public charter schools.
(b) An annual evaluation shall be based on a review of the criteria that is specified in the public charter school's charter and the public charter school's letter grade, in accordance with applicable rules.
(c) The authorizer may require a charter holder to appear before the authorizer to discuss the results of the annual evaluation and to present further information to the authorizer as the authorizer deems necessary.
