(a) A public school district or an open-enrollment public charter school that shows a significant commitment to serving students and families connected to the United States Armed Forces may be designated as a Purple Star School or Purple Star School District.
(b) The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education may promulgate rules to implement this section.
