(a) The Arkansas School for the Deaf and Blind shall maintain student records as required by law and rules applicable to public school districts.
(b) The Board of Trustees of the Arkansas School for the Deaf and Blind may adopt a student attendance policy necessary to ensure compliance with the purpose and function of the school.
