Ark. Code Ann. § 6-51-602

(1) As used in this subchapter:(1) “Admissions representative” means a person who executes an enrollment agreement and who receives compensation for the primary duties of encouraging prospective students to enroll for training in a program of study offered by a school covered under the provisions of this subchapter;(2) “Board” means the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board;(3) “Extension course site” means a location away from the school where a course or courses are conducted one (1) or more times during the licensure period;(4) “Institution of higher education” means a:(A) State-supported two-year or four-year college or university; or(B) Private, nonprofit two-year or four-year college or university with its primary headquarters located in Arkansas that is eligible to receive Title IV federal student aid funds;(5) “Program of study” means an organized unit of courses or an individual course in which instruction is offered;(6) “Satellite school” means a school located in Arkansas but away from the school where programs of study are offered on a regular continuing basis by Arkansas schools;(7) (A) “School” means an entity that offers:(i) Resident or correspondence training that leads to or enhances occupational qualifications;(ii) Instruction in airframe or power plant mechanics;(iii) Training as preparation for passing exams that may lead to employment; or(iv) Driver education training, excluding courses taught to motor vehicle violators pursuant to court order.(B) “School” does not include an institution of higher education; and(8) “Student” means a person who is seeking to enroll, has been enrolled, is sought for enrollment, or is seeking training or instruction in a school as defined in this section.

(6) “Satellite school” means a school located in Arkansas but away from the school where programs of study are offered on a regular continuing basis by Arkansas schools;

(B) “School” does not include an institution of higher education; and

(8) “Student” means a person who is seeking to enroll, has been enrolled, is sought for enrollment, or is seeking training or instruction in a school as defined in this section.
