Defining the word "year" in the three-year statute of limitations in § 33-44-111 as "calendar year", meaning the period from January 1 to December 31, would lead to an absurd result. Schafer v. Aspen Skiing Corp., 742 F.2d 580 (10th Cir. 1984).
