Eligibility of a pregnant person for TANF

(a) Repealed. (b) Beginning October 1, 2026, a pregnant person shall be eligible for TANF benefits if the pregnancy has been medically certified, the pregnancy is in the second or third trimester, and other generally applicable TANF eligibility requirements are met. The Mayor shall provide to the pregnant person written information and referrals regarding the availability of prenatal care services and nutrition supplements.
