(1) An employer may not knowingly allow, require, permit, or authorize a driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle in violation of a federal, state, or local law or rule pertaining to railroad-highway grade crossings.(2) A person who violates subsection (1) is subject to a civil penalty of not more than $10,000.
